Tina is a licensed clinical social worker and throughout her career has worked with both children and adults in the mental health field. Tina earned her Bachelor's degree in social work from Elizabethtown College in 2001, then went on to earn a Master's in Social Work degree from Marywood University in 2006. Tina has practiced as a licensed social worker since 2006. In June of 2016, Tina went on to obtain clinical licensure as an LCSW.
Through her career she has partnered with county social service agencies to help children and families struggling with trauma and abuse, worked within public school systems to help children with behavioral challenges thrive while simultaneously supporting and guiding their families, and most recently has served as a college mental health counselor helping young adults balance their mental health and overall well-being while learning how to manage the stress of higher education.
Her approach to counseling is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy. In her practice she specializes in helping individuals with anxiety and mood disorders, low self esteem, social/relational and life adjustment issues and parenting challenges.
